WHAT IS A JUSTICE DAY?

To us, Justice Day is the moment when a survivor of abuse reclaims control of their narrative and finally feels empowered. Justice Day looks different for everyone. It could be the day you tell a friend, the moment you escape a violent situation, or years later when you fight for victims' rights, knowing first-hand what it's like. These are all Justice Days and we are here to celebrate these victories through dialogue and engagement.

WHAT IS JUSTICE DAY ASSOCIATION?

Whether your Justice Day happens in a courtroom or in a coffee shop with a friend, we want to support you to your Justice Day and beyond. Our mission is to create a diverse support network to empower survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in Kentuckiana. We host events in Kentucky and southern Indiana that embrace survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence with understanding. Some of these events give participants space to discuss their experiences, while others simply allow participants to engage in fun activities while surrounded by a supportive community. Justice Day Association strives to create safe spaces and a diverse community while providing support and education for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
